I grew up in Belgium and studied literature and languages, which took me to Spain and then the UK where I did a master’s degree. There I joined the Edinburgh University Photographic Society, I got my first DSLR and learnt the basics. When I went back to Belgium I signed up for a one-year course at Bx Art, where I learnt more techniques and developed an eye for detail.
Since then I’ve been practising on my own, trying to develop my own style and experimenting many different genres (street, landscape, pet photography etc.) – my favourite being pet and documentary photography in general (at events or when travelling).
I use Fujifilm cameras, X-T2 and X100F for their size/weight, the great image quality and quick access to all the necessary controls.
